Newquay and Looe, Cornwall

31st December 2012 and 1st January 2013

We headed down to Newquay for two private performances, one in Newquay for New Years Eve, and then an acoustic performance the next day in Looe.

Our guitarist's wife was due to give birth in January so we had our deputy, Andy, on standby just in case she went into labour. And of course with babies being babies, we had to call on Andy's services for the second gig. Both guitarists have played with us many times and it sometimes makes a nice change for us musicians to have a different face.

We had a fantastic audience for both evenings, with a packed dance floor for new years eve and some pleased to chill out to some of acoustic songs whilst nursing a bad head the next day.

After loading up our equipment we headed to the nearest local pastry shop and topped up the van with a mountain of Cornish pasties to take home. Success!

We later received this kind email from our New Years Eve gig which we have added to our Testimonial page

"We were so happy that you were available to travel to make our special evening. We wanted to mark our milestone year with a band that would suit everyone and we got that with Nu Generation. You had a great mix of songs and I have to say I enjoyed all of them. All of the family were up dancing, thanks for putting on a great New Years Eve. You must work very hard."

Who ate all the pasties?
